For the Dawnguard Beta testers

Post » Thu Nov 15, 2012 4:03 pm

When Dawnguard releases (which is sometime today, it's midnight EST) redownload dawnguard off your download history. Gstaff told me to do this via PM so I'm thinking something must have been updated/removed/changed whatever.

Also would advise not flooding the forums with what you got from the beta until 3-4 AM since that's when the xbox live marketplace updates its items. I don't know if it would be particularly illegal though, but just to be safe.

And do NOT play a save with Dawnguard material if you uninstall the dlc, for however brief a time. Wait until the redownload is complete.

So is this release the same as the one some of us tested? How are bug fixes going to be implemented?

Yet to find out lol

Also I've checked both castles and all smithing menus and what i can....

So for us beta testers to understand only...

I say I see no added things that we all used to discuss. Only bugs got fixed. Still good news for those About to play!

I do hope that at least some bugs were fixed... I mean, what's the point of the beta test if they don't?

Speaking of which, whilst testing did they update the game at all and actively fix issues?

I started a thread on the subject in the Hardware / Software Issues forum. That would be a more appropriate place for discussion, and we would be able to discuss bugs and potential fixes in detail.

Yeah. I was a beta tester.

Do I need to Re-download Dawnguard for it's full gameplay?

I'm just about to head to Solitude with Serana because thats the closest to her home.

Does it restart when I redownload?

In order for the bug fixes to take effect you need to redownload Dawnguard.
