For those PC players that can't figure the UI out...

Read the manual. Yesterday I saw 4 or 5 questions posted at least 2 or 3 times each on this forum and another that all could have been answered by simply reading one page in the manual. Hotkeys 1-8 for example? Yes you can assign them contrary to what a lot of people were saying. Just read the manual.

btw, LOVE THE GAME!!! I won't be on here again for awhile lol.

"that key is reserved" which is because keys 1-8 can be used as well as the favirates menu.

Go to the favirates menu and press 1-8 to assign that favirated item to that key.

Just tell me where the manual is located and I'll be happy to read it.

Steam version doesn't come with a manual Einstein. And where in the manual does it explain why Esc doesn't bring up the options menu so I can disable the stupid [censored] funbox controls?

Yes it does:

EDIT: The link to the manual is on the Steam store page for Skyrim. Perhaps they just added it?

Yes, I bought on steam and have no manual.

But those who have one, like the OP, will undoubtably help me with this situation:

When I go to my safehouse to collect and drop off items from my chest, I open my container. I decide to move some health potions and food from the container. I left-click on the item and it moves to my inventory. So far so good.
I can also (still from the same menu) move items the other way round, from my inventory to the container. Only: if I do that by left-clicking it results in the items being consumed by my hero.

Two questions:

1. How is this an "intuitive" interface?
2. For those with the all-helpful manual: how do I remap the keys that left-clicking will just move items from A to B and from B to A without my hero eating everything?

Way to be patronising buddy.

Steam hadn't released the manual, up until now.

WHAT??? Actually read the manual? On their own - without mum to help with the big words?

You expect todays youth to actually do anything themselves?
I do hope said manual is written in txt l33t lol language, otherwise they won't understand it.

That's why you dont buy things digitally.

When I download games, I cant complain that I dont have the physical components of the game, and then get mad because I cant figure out how to do something.

What a jerk.

Did you read the thread at all? You do read English, right? The big words in this thread didn't stump you, did they?

Bethesda sold a game on STEAM. They did NOT provide a manual with the game - and the manual link they did provide did not work about an hour ago. So when this tread was started, there was no manual to read.

Is that clear enough for you or do I need to use even smaller words?
