4 days ago i fell victim to the save file corruption bug/glitch whatever you want to call it, i waited 2 days in the hope of a patch, hell even some news on a timescale but nothing, so i decided to delete all my save files and start fresh and boost my way back to the level i was at before my save files f'd up, obviously for those of you that have put 20+ hours into the game this might not be the best option, for others like me that had only put in 10 or so hours this seemed like the best idea as i didn't want to sit about waiting for a patch that A] might not turn up and B] might not fix corrupted save files.

So all you have to do is start your game and head to Vault 11, the location of this vault can be found with ease on Google, you don't need to be a high level to go there, 2-3 will be fine, head to to the lower levels and once you get to the room with a chair and a video plays the doors either side will open and there will be 5 robots attacking you, kill them and the 4 turrets, head through the door ( not the one you came in ) and there will be a console, choose the bottom option and keep pressing the A button until you reach the level you where on before your save files got corrupted.

I figured i got screwed over by a bug so ill use a bug to get my own back, got my way to level 14 and finished the game earlier tonight after 2 days of playing with no freezes or any glitches present, i will add that if you do this to avoid the come fly with me quest that has you clean out the ghouls, instead use the Terminal in Mannys room just behind the dinosaurs tail in the motel, lower floor just by the stairs, anyway that's what i ended up doing and it worked for me, maybe someone reads this and thinks it may help them to, or you could sit and wait for a patch to come out and still be checking these forums at the weekend.
