I think what people were hoping for was either a multiplayer mode built into the single-player games (horrible idea in my opinion) or an MMO specifically designed for TES fans that captures and somehow translates the overall feel of the single-player series into MMO gameplay.

What we've ended up with is a fairly generic MMO made for MMO fans that's only really connected to the main series by name and lore.

They were locked with a link to the official multiplayer discussion thread. We've maintained a continuous multiplayer discussion thread on the topic of the Elder Scrolls since Oblivion was announced.

There are enough complaints in this section without having a thread about the complaints, so I'll go ahead and lock this.
