Forcing greet package - step by step.

Post » Fri Nov 16, 2012 7:13 pm

This is my first post on this forum so hello everybody.

I'd very gratful is someone can explain to me step by step how force greet package works, because I'm trying to use it but without success. I want to one of my NPCs tell to player a dialogue, when he comes close enough to him (Do I use appropriate package at all?)
How Do I have prepare dialogue? Is needed some special operations or can I just make new branch like when I want talk to NPC first?

Any example how to do it would be nice, or if you know where can I find any tutorials about it I would be happy too.

Thanks in advance.

Ok, thanks a lot, I will read it when have a moment. Also have one more question - if I add new NPC, he by default have some dialogue lines like "What do you need?" or "Any rumors?" in case of guard, etc. Is it possible to turn those dialogues off? I want my NPCs to talk only my own dialogues.

yeah, define new hellos and idles for them. Look under the misc tab on the quest window

Give your NPCs their own voice type, and don't make them members of the GuardDialogueFaction.

This solves any problems, thanks.

Will look at this too.
