Hey guys, making an awesome Breton hunter character, still awaiting the arrival of 1.5 on xbox before I start him... but... I need help on a good, lore fitting, legit Forsworn name. His backstory is that he is descended from the tribes people of the Reach, but he does not adhere to their new found ways of violence and black magic. But he is still a son of the Reach (born on the High Rock side of it). So... other than Madanach I haven't found very many references to the names of this culture... suggestions?

no but you can befriend a group of them, the rest still go mental when they see you though

No, but none the less He is one... It started when I made a Breton with a mohawk and an epic chin beard in CC one day, gave hime and awesome tribal Tat, sat back and said "he's a forsworn.".

He's just not crazy like all the others.

I don't think the Forsworn use names identical to High Rock Bretons...if you look at the http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Breton_Names of Breton names used throughout the series, they tend to have French roots (Etienne, Matthias, etc.) whereas the Forsworn lean a bit more toward straight up Gaelic. Braig and Donnel have strong Gaelic roots, for instance.

I'd start with the list Captain_Ginyu linked to and a list of Gaelic names (http://www.namenerds.com/scottish/gaelicguy.html) for picking out a name for your character.

Look up welsh names the Reach reminds me alot of Wales can see they based the forsworn on the welsh who resisted the Normans and English. I realy like this as well as a background I had a my last PC as a refuge from the Markarth incident, thats the whole crossing the boarder thing to return to skyrim to get revenge on Ulfric stormcloak. would be cool to do a forsworn based build I guess it would be destruction and one handed based.
