Using it can I get Weapons and Armor potions higher than 50? Because I know you can get enchantments higher. but can you get smithing higher? Which I know you probably can I'm just making sure before I go try!

"50" what? You can get them waayyy higher than "+50%" Fortify [whatever] if that's what you're asking.

Don't go too crazy because you can roll them over and the attributes will go negative on you. :P

Unless it's been patched, yes you can.

Instead of a Fortify Smithing potion to improve a weapon, if you use the restoration glitch I'd recommend making the fortify restoration potion then use that to create an enchanted object with Fortify Alchemy-Fortify Smithing. The object (Necklace/Ring etc) will be permanent so no more messing around with potions. To experiment I made a ring with Fortify Alchemy/Fortify Smithing 1000+%. I used it to craft some Fortify Carry Weight potions for when I moved everything in my house.

Just using the normal game mechanics will make very powerful weapons if you want to skill up your Alchemy/Enchanting/Smithing, though, so restoration glitch isn't really needed to make decent weapons, just useful to make crazy, fun stuff.
