So forum... How will you

Post » Thu Dec 09, 2010 4:54 am

Hello, im new to this forum and just wondering the types of attire you like to dress in mostly ( in fallout games ) I for one will look for a suit or any casual clothing i can find and wear it the whole way through till the end, from the word go. I find sticking to one set of clothing gives you a wider roleplaying edge, which is quite contradicting - having read that sentence again.

For my first character I will wear the most badass/heavy armor in the game. For my second, I will wear pre-war suits and hats without ever changing to add some challenge.

HaHa. But surely, by the time you find the most heavy armor in the game you'll be nearing the end? are you planning on going naked untill it is found? :D

Well I'm one of those that just can't wear clothes and only wear armor.
Going to try to wear clothes though.
So I'll make this doctor guy who's real sinister and will use bio-chemical (if there are any) to kill people.
And I figure a clothing set which includes a white coat would suit him.

But again, that is after my first playthrough.

My character will use anything that gives him an extra boost to agility. Armor won't be needed, as he won't get shot nearly at all.

Welcome to the forums!

Anyway, for my first playthrough of New Vegas, I'm going to try to get my hands on that sweet NCR Ranger armor seen in the debut trailer. Or, I'll use that APA MK II.

I give them skittles not to shoot at me. :3

(He'll be smooth and intelligent, he uses everything he can do avoid getting hurt, and he's not afraid of violence, so he uses his intelligence to win a fight rather than avoid it. A SMOOTH badass.)

Cowboy outfits, maybe steal one of Raul's and wear a face wrap with a fancy hairdo.

The metrosixual bandit strikes again!

Ha! I hope other people know which episode you were talking about. I'm going to stick with Advanced Power Armor and a T-51b helmet most of the time. Whenever I'm in town, I'm going to wear something with a bandoleer and a fedora. Plasma or Laser Pistol as a sidearm.

I'll dress like a courier on my first play through; dunno how exactly since I don't know what kind of outfits there are in NV but I'll probably shy away from medium and heavy armour in favor of light armour and practical outfits.

  • An axe for chopping down trees.
  • High heels
  • Suspenders
  • A bra

(Apologies to Monty Python, that's just the first thing that popped into my head).

Welcome to the forum :)

as for me I stick with armor near all my playthroughs just for effectiveness rather than a real roleplaying perspective....weird how I do that in a roleplaying game  .....
but I'm loving the NCR trench coat in the teaser trailer and will probably make a character specifically for that look.

@UKwastelander: I think your the first layman on this forum I've seen that is free of spelling errors. You don't know how much of a refresher that is. :)

I prefer the basic Wasteland Wanderer outfit. +1 Agility and +1 Endurance. That's very impressive for a low cost outfit. Hopefully it's back in FNV.

Agility for sneak especially.

I'll probably wear some type of clothing similar to the regulator duster from Fallout 3. I always wore that, I never really wore any type of armour, I think clothing looks cooler.
