I'm sorry but I have no idea where I could post this, so I do it here.

I noticed that I'm no longer getting notifications when someone quotes one of my posts, so I took a look at the options. What I first saw is that I can be notified when someone "likes" one of my posts; I don't even remember seeing a "like" button under any post, but I chose "send email".

What I noticed then is that the "notify me when someone quotes one of my post" is un-tickable whatever the choice I make. Could someone fix this please; I really need that precise option.

I'm afraid we've had to disable that feature because of an issue with the forum software. Right now, I have no idea if/when it'll be back.

Wait... Quoting someone no longer sends a message? Has this happened recently (today or yesterday) or is this something that has been going on for a longer amount of time? I was quoted and got a notification about it last time 1 ro 2 days ago. (not to email, but to this board).

Nope, it doesn't. It was disabled a couple of days ago due to issues. As Falchya said, it's currently unclear when/if it'll be back.

Yikes, that explains the quoting of me by other people but saw no notification.

Probably part of some 'Like'-system the software has built in but we don't use.

Thanks for the answers; I don't know how I'm going to handle the forums if I no longer get these notifications. It was clearly the most useful of all the settings.
