The colouring is pretty damn awesome if you ask me. I can't see a white colour or anything brighter look good, especially since this colour is perfect.

I can see how you're feeling though, but it's your eyes, they haven't fully adapted to the colour and layout, give it a few days and you should find this new layout and colour scheme perfect.
