I fought with the law and apparently they still lost

Hi Boys and Girls,
Just wondering if anyone has any answers as to why Obsidion and/or Bethesda did not fix the 'I fought the law' Quest aswell as the 'Radio New Vegas' announcement regarding it. Thankyou, your humble Ceasar's Legion. :violin:

could you expand on that please? what happen? what do you think should have happened?

also you should note that they are probably busy fixing things and have not yet gotten around to it yet.

Build the Eifel Tower in your back yard, you have a one week deadline.

I had this problem before the newest patch where I do the 'I fought the law' Quest. This a brand new game i started after the new patch. Which is the one where you help billy or bobby or Huckleberry.. Whoever- the leader of the powder gangers at the NCRC facility deal with a wayward powder ganger, a bounty hunter and a unavoidable attack by the NCR. I always choose to side with the NCR and attack the Powder Gangers. After vanquishing all inhabitants of the said facility the annoying alarm continue's the main NCR official dissapear's and Mr New Vegas continue's to tell me the facility i just beat to a pulp just fought off my attack. I also while attacking the facility made sure all powder ganger's were dealt with. Im sure other people have had this problem and was wondering if it's a cache problem (im on 360) (It's Unlikely) or if it just a Quest they missed to fix. THANKS! :intergalactic: how good are the Beastie Boys

The main NCR officer goes to Forlorn Hope, anyway its a bug with Mr. New Vega's radio. I've yet to hear of ANYONE getting it to trigger correctly so its recognized as a success on the radio.

I agree, it's the radio. They need to fix it. I remember Mr. New Vegas annouced something (which now I've forgotten) that has never happen yet.

If you wipe out the NCRCF without following the powder gangers leader Eddie's chain of quests the radio will not tell you the prison has fallen to the attack.
Otherwise it should work fine, but sometimes the radio takes a bit to adjust.

Did you kill everyone in all the buildings apart from Sayer?, that may have been the issue idk though for a fact however.

Then I'm on pc so the X Box might just have a unique bug.

Edit: Go for the eyes boo!, go for the eyes !!!!!

It isnt just the radio. It's the quest itself. An ending slide points this out as a failure too IIRC.

Playing on Xbox pre-patch, I conquered the NCRCF with the NCR (after doing all of Eddie's other quests). I am absolutely certain I got the right ending slide, and I think I might have heard the radio announcing that the facility was retaken, but I'm less sure about that one. Not sure whether the alarm ever stops ringing. Not sure if you need to kill the guys in the cell block buildings too.
