I found a Chicken Necromancer on the top of a rocky hill directly south of Geirmund's Hall, just over the water, east of Ivarstead.

I was chasing a Deer and a very weak Necromancer jumped out and attacked me. After dispatching him with one shot of ice spike, I saw 2 chickens nearby that had a strange blue glow. It turned out that they were undead chickens. There was a strange looking chicken altar and there was pretty nice minor loot there: a giant's toe, a lesser soul gem and 2 chicken eggs.

I thought it was funny. A nice little cute surprise.

Lol this happened to me before. The chickens put up a good fight though.

I have seen a aspiring Mage trying to raise undead animal before. When you speak to him though you learn he is failing at it.

I first encountered him during a random dragon attack. The dragon had landed in front of me, and the next thing I know, there's a horde of undead chickens charging the dragon. I almost died because I was laughing too hard to do anything else.

I've just enjoyed the altar yesterday. It was a common soulgem in my case and I've also looted a skillbook from the necromancer. Woot-woot!
