I Found Serana's Hood... : V

...In the Coding. I know that was a bit harsh of a title, but I wanted you all to see this:

I just wanted to give you all the little spark of hope that you can get it for PC. It isn't much, but I just wanted to show you all!

Anyone feel the hope......?

There are a ton of items on PC that the player cannot get, you can forcibly add them to your inventory but they don't show. You can even equip them with console commands, like the black mages hood... I love that thing. I'm fairly certain her hood is going to be just like that. It'll take a group of modders to unlock it.

It' just the Guildmaster's Hood.

A slightly changed color and shape when compared to the Guild Master Hood. Although that head piece is the closest available.

Although, for me it just makes me bald and is invisible. I thought it was like that for beast races, but not a Dunmer! But it only happens to my Dunmer if he is a vampire. It does allow me to put on another hood along with it, though. I hope that Serana's Hood works....

Unfortunately, it affects all vampires. Thieves Guild Armor is glitched in that way. It doesn't effect Serana for some reason though...

I dont know why they want to make it so difficult for us to feel like we have freedom in this game....if I loot or master pickpocket you I should get what you have. Nonsense.

The dark brown Mage hood? Apprentice is the blackish grayish one.

I think that is the one I use. And because I am a Dunmer Vampire, and cannot wear a thieves guild hood, I just enchant a leather hood, and wear it under my mage's hood. It looks cool, and it is pretty useful.

Not with the creation kit. And Serana was created as any other character was. The used the "female" skeleton layout (of course) for her, but the items are designed for both, unless the hood is a part of her skeleton, which i highly doubt, as they would need to create a whole new character system from scratch.

I've heard that armor like karliahs, or the executioners armor can't be equipped by the player

It can be, but only with Console commands. If you played on the PC, your would open console and type "player.equipitem [Item ID]". That is how it would work, but seeing as how nothing Dawnguard related can be viewed on PC, it won't work to equip, say... serana's hood until Dawnguard is officially released for pc.

You just have to go into the Creation Kit and change it to being playable.

Why do people care about this hood? It makes no real sense to me. It's like how people just CAN'T live without marrying Serana, while marriage is claimed to be "shallow" and "slapped in."

Actually, if you look at the back of the vampire royal armor, there is a hood attached.

yeah. go wear a thieves guild hood while a vampire. I bet it's going to look awesome. Whille you are at it get linwe's armor and get an ebony shield. Those look awesome too
