HH freeze - 100% of the time

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 10:55 pm

Right at the start of the DLC, just met Follows Chalk, right after we encounter the Yao Guai - EVERY time I walk past that point (there is a fork in the trail right there) the game freezes, requiring a power down of the console.
I've tried starting the DLC from different save games and it always (100% of the time) freezes right there.

Any ideas?

will this patch/fix also adress my issue? every time since i've purchased honest hearts on the day it came out, i talk to the npc tell him i'm ready (after i drop some stuff in the box next to him) he says ok let's go theres no coming back, the screen goes to the loading roulette table for a total of 4 seconds then BSOD (black screen of DEATH{for xbox}) every single time, i have to get up and reboot. I haven't even been able to see the intro video, or nothing just loading then black no nothing. Tried many different things deleted/redownloaded hh, deleted dead money. deleted update, reupdated... cleared system cache... started 4 different characters, with no other dlc content on the harddrive other then HH and that update 4. I have even taken my save files to my friends brand new 2011 xbox 360 with all the nice touch features and kinect, and it still gave me the big ol' BSOD. I've gave up and actually quit playing the game. When i think about how many times i tried to get it to work with a different character i dont even want to bother. Ill play morrowind LOL TYVM. I'm just happy i dont have to shell out 200 for a new xbox just to play a 9 dollar dlc product that'll probably only enjoy for a short week at most.
