Freezes are still very much there.

Hey, pretty much my only current serious problem with New Vegas is freezing. It freezes. Alot. It even froze one time loading my file from the main menu. Can the next patch do something about this?

Have you tried just ejecting the0 disk? It's doesn't fix the freeze, but it might allow to get back into the XBox dashboard without having to hard boot the console. This sometimes works for me.

Yep. I usually try that out of habit. Doesn't work with New Vegas. I'm just hoping that a future update will somewhat tame these issues.

It's unlikely, as there's no specific trigger for it, it's a random thing that can happen anywhere and is infrequent for some (some people here report a freeze or two every 30 or 40 hours), and very frequent for others (I've heard things like "every 5 minutes" from some users).

What is your current configuration? Is it installed? Not installed? Have you cleared cache lately? Is your Xbox well ventilated?
