Game keeps freezing at the intro, never being able to get off the cart. Tried about 3 times now. Cleaned the disc, still happened. I do not have any saved files on my PS3, so it isn't a memory problem. Just keeps freezing. The sound of the cart also keeps looping, just the picture freezes.

Any ideas for a fix?

1. How much free space is left on the PS3 hard drive?

2. Can you turn off auto save?

3. Can you delete the game completely and reinstall?

Happened to me too. I had to delete my Game Data and Reinstall

Reinstalled, same. Turned off auto-save, same.

Also, the scrips ends at "we're all brothers and sisters in binds now, horse thief". The guy never says "shut up back there" and everyone stays quiet until we make it to Helgen and the game freezes.

5. Can you check and make sure that PS3 is not connected to the PSN network while playing this game?

Maybe there's something wrong with the Disc a scratch or something. Is this the first time you play Skyrim?

Did you also delete the Game Update Data?
