» Mon Feb 11, 2013 12:18 am I have been having a problem (for as long as I can remember) of freezing in and around Riverwood. 98% percent of the time spent elsewhere is smooth, except for the occasional crash, but I can't go anywhere near Riverwood without crashing or freezing. (The crashes happen when I press Esc to get to the save menu). I usually run Skyrim with very high texture quality, but around Riverwood I've turned it down to medium quality and I still get freezing. I've changed the Skyrim.ini and SkyrimPrefs.ini to allow for threaded textures and such, and I'm also using GameBooster and my GPU and CPU are overclocked. Like I said, Skyrim runs just fine everywhere else, but as soon as I get near Riverwood I am bound to get problems. Any help on this problem will be appreciated.
