Trying to run the game and get this error "Frequency Out of Range". My monitor is very old:) I have changed the resolution (ResX ResY) in DishonoredEngine.ini but can't find how to change the frequency. Also try this

MinAllowableRefreshRate=85, MaxAllowableRefreshRate=85

Try setting it in the games launch options instead, see if that works.
To do that just right click the game in Steam library - Properties - Set Launch Options

Add these commands
To set refresh rate use -refresh
To set Resolutions use -w -h

It would look like this for example
-refresh 85 -w 2560 -h 1440

Is this only Steam parameters or i can run it in windows like
C:\DishonoredPath\Binaries\Win32\Dishonored.exe -refresh 85 -w 1280 -h 960 ??

I think it should work by adding it in the shortcut like that as well.

is your monitor able to display the resolution 1280x960 ???
i also would try to set frequency to max 60 Hz, just for testing purposes.......
how old is your monitor ?

Yes it is. Now i use this resolution in Windows and 85 hz frequency(it is from display settings in Windows). My monitor is about 10 years old)

Have you tried lower resolutions than 1280x960? Like 1024x768 or something, just to see if that will work?

Yes of course. 800x600 doesn't work too:((

You need to edit you registry: Current _user / Software / Arkane / Dishonored. Change ResX and ResY to the required settings.
