So I went home and my thane/house carl told me that there was something funny going on in the basemant, as most of you know the basemant is infested with skeevers, I kill the ones that attack me, but then there is one off in the forge area, I sheath my sword and walk over and find that he is friendly. so now I have a basemant skeever. hope my kids don't kill it!
and I guess I'm just wondering if anyone else ever found this, for I would asume that most people playing skyrim would swing their sword first and ask questions later, especially with a critter know to be hostile.

I think Vorstag killed Sammy too, when he was following me to the cellar to drop off some some stuff quick. I saw Sammy a second too late! LOL

Guess if I go skeever-hunting in the basemant, I'll need to be careful. Sammy might be lurking down there.

Woops, when my steward told me she heard scratching in the basemant (I hadn't build anything yet), I went down there. It was dark and I saw skeevers and I didn't stop to see if anyone was friendly. I just dispatched them all rather quickly! Be gone vermin!
