my friend donst have the money to buy a PS4 she only has a PC and we want to play together but i see thats not possible? There should be a way for friends on diff platforms to play with one another like you can add your friend to your friends list and you can inv her/him to your server so you can play together not matter if he or she is on a xbox one of pc or ps4. And i dont mean change your megaserver technology, i mean you could add technology to inv friends and play with them in dungeons or whatnot. Just throwing Ideas so friends and family can play together no matter what platform they have. At least could you guys plz look into this and try it

It's unlikely that cross platform play would be allowed with ESO.

It's not impossible, some games have done it.

It can just be a nightmare for either the devs or the players.

With an MMO especially, patches can come on a regular basis and updating is always required for play. Since its difficult for all platforms to get the updates out at the same time. This either means holding back updates for one platform until the others are ready or releasing the patches as they come and players using different versions.

Having separate servers and game worlds for each platform simply makes it easier for the devs to ensure each platform is using one patch version.
