Last Patch introduced a new bug ffor me:

whenever I get hit by frost damage (ice spike, dragon frost attack, ...) I stagger. It is worst with Frostbite, because I am staggered continuously, even unable to move/run away - until the enemy stops casting it.

I HAVE all mods uninstalled and the newest patch as provided by steam.

Any ideas or other people experiencing this too?

May I suggest Deadly Combat?
It has built in anti-stagger-spam for magic.

does this affect the player or the enemies? Because its not the enemies who get staggered, its ME!

Do this stagger happens to foe too? Since frost is so underpowered, it is glad to see frost damage being a bit more useful. My last exp hit by frost damage, my stammia got svck up and unable to sprint, but I am still able to move.

The anti-stagger-spam affects all NPC's and the player.

Edit: You can toggle the anti-spam on/off individually for both NPC and player.

It only happens to me, enemies are not staggered by frostbite.


Thanks for the suggestion, but I will not install a mod to compensate for a problem I didn't have before.

By the way, Deadly Combat does a ton of other stuff too, it's worth checking out if you are into combat at all.

I tried to load other savegames of other chars, and the error didn't occur. Also with older savegames of the same char there is no problem. There is something I must have done that broke some mechanic with this char. Anyway, I'll just load an older savegame (10 levels back, ouch ...) and report if the error occurs again...
