Has anyone else noticed that the anatomy (especially their chelicerae and pedipalps) of frostbite spiders points to them not being true spiders (order Araneae) at all, but actually solfugids (order Solfugae, a.k.a. camel spiders or wind scorpions)? I found this interesting, but that's probably just because I'm a nerd.

Since I got a first person kill-cam on one and was a bit too face-to-face with it, I am more careful about shouting Kyne's Peace and running right past them. So long story short, I try not to look at them at all.

That is actually pretty interesting. I never considered that. I always likened them to Wolf Spiders.

One of my favorite shouts. I use it all the time so I can actually admire the wildlife of Skyrim without it trying to eat/poison/maim me.
