If you're unable to piece together the words in the title, allow me to jog your memory. You undertake a pilgrimage with a pitcher which you take with you and fill with water at various wayshrines, eventually ending up at a castle inhabited by a certain prince.
I just love how I was constantly looking at my enemies, and having some quick glances at the roof to make sure I'm in the safe when a quake comes along. I just loved how it was kind of MMO like. It was neatly parted up into various "phases" and I had to learn the fight so to speak. It was reminiscent of the typical "don't stand in the fire" vibe in MMOs but brought into an FPS RPG. I personally found the fight to be very challenging, I always play on master difficulty and sometimes need to reduce it to adept in certain situations. I'm not bullheaded or masochistic enough to constantly have it on master, but I'm sure I could beat the fight at level 20 on master with five potions I happened to have in my bag and utilizing histskin at the right time in the fight. But Just the fact that I needed to time my histskin, or save it for later was really a game changing moment for me. I mean I actually had to die, and rethink my actions a bit, and get a sort of "feel" for the fight. I loved it. It was just the right difficulty for me.
Did anyone else find this as enjoyable as I did?
Why or why not?
