Frozen pizza in a microwave(how long)

Why are we still giving the OP advice? He already ruined it with the first bit of wonderful advice he was given here.

Read the instructions for microwave cooking on the side of the box.
25 minutes in a microwave might make that pizza charcoal.

This. It will more than likely have instructions for microwave use.

Or do what I do...set the microwave to defrost, put it in for 2 minutes...then put it on full power for the time it should take a fresh pizza to cook!

I had assumed he'd know that 25 minutes was a joke. The last two pieces were legitimate.

And the "Stupid thing you used to believe" link in your siggy is broken. EDIT: Fixed now.

Actually, that's exactly what it means. If it doesn't provide instructions for cooking it a certain way, they're implying that you shouldn't cook it that way, like trying to stuff a pizza into a deep fryer. Never seen instructions for that :P.

1.Slice pizza into desired size
2.Dip Pizza in flour.
3.Dip Pizza in batter ensuring an even coat.
4.Place pizza carefully into fryer. Cook until batter is golden.

Damn good.

Most disgusting thing that I've ever heard of since fried Twinkies :P.

Yeah Anti, works for some reason now. Just didn't work the first time I clicked.

It works fine for me.

Not to derail the thread but does it work for anyone else?

I think you've misunderstood the OP's post. As I've read it, (at least after the second post), the pizza was made by his mother? and so did not come in a box. And his mother froze the pizxa before giving it him. Pizzas don't usually turn out great in microwaves, on that I agree.

Put it in the microwave, shut the door, then open it and take it back. Then cook/reheat it properly in the oven. 400 degrees for about 5-10 minutes, and check up on it every few minutes.

Darn you Romascu! This is serious business with serious discussion value. SERIOUSLY.

;) I never put pizza in the microwave. I prefer to cook the personal ones straight on the rack.. but the bigger ones tend to fall apart when cooking straight on the rack.

This. Microwaved pizza is nasty. Pizza needs to be reheated in a regular oven, or at least a toaster oven. Closed by request of the OP anyway.
