LoL that nerdy guy was hilarious bragging about his inventory!

I also forgot Kings field series, but that has weak RPG elements not sure if I should add.

The only one I can make a comparison on is Morrowind.
I meant a comparison on the awesome scale! but Arx fatalis is a lot like morrowind, just a more solid experience.

EDIT: I see, you meant because morrowind is the only one you have played, not because it is a similar theme.

Only SS1 not SS2? If so you should really play SS2. Also play deus ex, you are missing out BIG TIME! and what about Arx fatalis? the immersion/exploration/discovery/atmosphere & everything else in that game is near perfect. Seems like you missed out on the best generation of FP/RPGs.
I did play SS2, but I never quite completed it. The thing is I don't normally like actual FPS or 1st person viewpoint that much, so I don't often play such. Might & Magics/Borderlands/FNV have been the exception rather than the rule. I tried Stalker series recently and while I felt/could sense it was a good series, it wasn't as casual as I prefer these days. Might've liked it a lot 6-8 years ago but now...not so much. I've just become...very picky I guess.

Casual....I hate that word in gaming terms.

Ohhh, you must be playing some kind of joke on me. Is Mount & Blade/Warband not mentioned? There's a first person mode in it, by default, and it's ill.

Is it the primary view perspective or is it in just some sections?

Both First and Third person like TES. A superb RPG which should be on that list.

It gives the option of turn based or "phased" which is pretty much real time (you can pause if you choose to).

It's not an RPG because you can not define any role in the game other than what is provided, and you are not given choices to define your path or your character, and and player skill trumps character skill in nearly every possible aspect.

Hence, the STALKER series are not RPGs. This isn't even debatable when it comes to this particular series.

Uh, have you even played STALKER? Its definitely not a full blown RPG, but there are quite a few different endings (6 I think?) depending on the choices that you make. It's got side quests, inventory management, upgrades, health system, and dialogue as well.

Yes I have, it's one of my favorite series. Those are just some elements usually found in rpgs.

There's also the indie game http://store.steampowered.com/app/91700/. Haven't heard many good things about it though.
Yeah, I couldn't stand it, it gives you almost no direction, and there about a billion different systems to wrap your head around. Though, I have heard that if you're the kind of person who hates "dumbing down", and wants to go back to hardcoe no hand holding RPGs then it's perfect for you.
