Fun Facts about Vampires

Did you know that...
  • ...as detailed in the in-game book Opusculus Lamae Bal, the first Daughter of Coldharbour was Lamae Beolfag, who Molag Bal in the form of a man forcefully violated, and in doing so shed a drop of blood on her brow which gave rise to her undeath--and that the "ritual" Serana speaks of when she describes how she and her mother became Daughters of Coldharbour is this same process recreated willingly?
  • ...as of Dawnguard, there are exactly 26 named vampires in the game, all but one of which can be potentially eliminated (or cured, in the case of Serana) with the player's intervention? The one exception is Valerica!
  • ...radiant vampires (that is to say, the ones that spawn during random encounters or when you are assigned to assault a vampire lair) are exclusively Nord, Altmer, Dunmer, Imperial, and Breton?
  • ...radiant vampire underlings (Vampire Fledgling, Blooded Vampire, Ancient Vampire, etc.) are exclusively female, whereas radiant vampire bosses (Master Vampire, Nightmaster Vampire, etc.) are exclusively male?
  • ...all NPCs come with a morality rating which determines what crimes, if any, that NPC is willing to commit, and that all radiant vampire underlings are all marked "Any Crime" (least morality) whereas all radiant vampire bosses are marked "No Crime" (most morality)?
  • ...Serana is voiced by Laura Bailey (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Laura_Bailey_(voice_actress)), whose voice you've probably heard countless times before but you just didn't know it?
Now you know! And knowing is half the battle.

Yes typically the ritual that recreates the Beolfags "incident" is done by willing female cultists, however I found no information saying that someone forced into the ritual for whatever reason couldn't result in a pureblood (how my character became a vampire RP wise).

- That vampire necromages get a 25% boost on everything the game considers a spell cast on self, including standing stones, blessings, shouts, potion making and enchantments?

I believe the USKP fixes this, but don't quote me on it

I THINK the unofficial Skyrim patch (which I suppose counts as a mod) fixes this.
