Fur Armor (Alternate) ?

Post » Sat Jun 30, 2012 12:53 am

I was checking out EUSP Wiki today and I was checking out Fur Armor and I come across this ...
http://www.uesp.net/wiki/File:SR-item-Fur_Armor_Female_02.jpg
I understand that the Fur armour I know of is fully protected around the torso area as it appears.
But on this image I found (Alternate) it seems much less protected and I was wondering how you come by getting this armour?
Can anyone tell me please.

Thanks, Emkayz :) xXx

I think there are 2 or 3 different versions of fur armor in the game. Just slaughter some bandits and loot them, they often wear fur.

Yeah, 3 different version.

On a female, you can have the "skirt" and bra, or the Skirt bra and a fur covering the shoulders, or skirt bra fur covering shoulders and some pants, and I think maybe sleeves. I always wear the fully covering one on any non-Nord due to cold. :)

There are 4 versions of fur armor, which makes 8 if you count gender differences. One of them leaves a male's torso completely unprotected; I think this might be the female version of this one.

@edit
Bandit camps? Just about everywhere. Try a random cave or Nordic ruins; Dwemer ruins won't do, they're usually infested with Falmer.

Embershard Mine usually has all 3 variants of armour being worn.

Just walk south out of Riverwood and follow that path alongside the river, before you reach the Guardian Stones there is a path on the left, good luck. :)

Hmm, 4 variants? I remember using the console and spawning all the fur armour that showed up (excluding the Fur Armour of Amazing Talents etc) and there was only 3.

The topless variant for a male is the bra variant for female.

Thanks! X

No problem.

Hmm, try another bandit location. Ermm, look up on the UESP for locations, my memory is terrible.

I'm on a console, but I can confirm four variants from finding them in the game. Check carefully, two of them look quite similar in the inventory screen.
