I have stewards in two homes and I have paid to have furnishings installed but it has been two days (earth days, not skyrim days) and I still have no furnishings. What am I doing wrong?

Fast travel away and sleep? It takes a few days for them to be installed.

I'm having this issue too. Have done a lot of fast travelling and waiting... basically ended up paying for furnishing in one place, then doing it all myself anyway... but the other places are pretty bare. Guess I'll wait a bit longer...

Yeah, going on my third day now, been completing quests and doing other things but every time I return home, still no furnishings.... guess I will just do it myself. Seems I wasted lots of gold.
