In-Game Books

Have any of you played UO? I did when I was younger, and there's one feature I've wanted to see in MMO's for quite some time now. The ability to write in-game books which you can give to your new guild mates so they know the rules. Or write a book explaining (in detail) how to get up to certain levels and even write a nice piece of role-play fan-fiction that you can have published for other gamers to purchase for in-game gold. I feel that this would enhance the role-play experience of the game. And don't lie to yourselves...if you play elder scrolls you're a role-player. Sooo...discuss. :-)

I actually like it. Could be fun recording your personal or guilds history and than reading it later on.

It really is. I belonged to one guild that required you to survey the area and act as a scout and report to the king what you found in the surrounding area. Once you did that, you were in.

lol that actually does sound like a bit of fun. Find it funny that they had such a little requirement like that.
