Game could use some more cool random encounters...

The random encounters are one of the greatest things about skyrim. I love the will you get from dead friends and the stuff that can happen while wondering in the world. Which random encounters would you add?

I think it would nice to have platoons of about 8 stormcloacks/imperials marching on the road with loud footsteps.
Would be nice to feel the civil war is not just happening around you so a random battle with about 8 stormcloacks fighting 8 imperials in a open space would be nice. For humor they should have your in-game wife appear with another dude in your house (In little Clothing) if you don't speak with her much.

One other thing is Skyrim can feel kinda like a small pace due to the amount of NPC's it can take on the screen. I wish the battles were bigger too. If your battling for the control of a province, you would think there would be a bigger army than 4 guys.

At least it has random encounters. Fallout New Vegas had zero. You had to "pretend" there was a war going on between the Legion and NCR.

I'm neutral in the civil war, so for me its not a big preference to see big battles.

We definitely need a lot more going on when you explore the wilds - and not more wolves.

It would be pretty epic if I got ambushed by an insanely strong frost troll that charged at me like a Sabre Cat. I would tear the skin from its body and make it an offering to Hircine.

I hope Bethesda is not wandering in the direction of making all new random encounters just attacks on the player. One of the plusses of Skyrim over Oblivion was the number of interesting non-violent encounters. I remember the first time I met the revelers. As I approached them I was sure this was going to end badly. Then they gave me some mead. I was blown away. After that I wanted to meet new people and see what they were up to. Random encounters became interesting, not just another fight. Wandering the roads and wilds of Skyrim was suddenly fascinating. Occassionaly it was dangerous, but not every single encounter was with something that wanted to rip my head off.

Come up with more stories like the revelers, the noble and his guard, the farmers who lost their farm in a dragon attack. Make me want to investigate and find new things/people.
