HI ! I have a HP Envy Phoenix h9-1400t with Windows 8 64-bit After updating and loading mods i click the play button the logo appears and the screen goes back to steam library. Game cache doesn`t verify--(1 file missing but will be accquired) --i was told by steam support to ignore.

Disable all mods to start..enable one by one to see what causes the problem. Check BOSS..and make sure you have a card that can run the game..as far as I know the envies have integrated graphics. If you're running extended scripts you have to use SKSE to launch the game or it will also do that..

It's skyrim..he's running it from steam. Wrong forum by the way, try the Skyrim help forum, this is for an unreleased MMO.

Unlikely..he made a conscious decision to click on an elder scrolls forum so you can at least rule the others out.

Do not subscribe to mods for content you do not have. This will cause you to crash.
