I've just got to the first town and the game crashes on the loading screen when entering a race at the speedway. If I crash the game then reload it goes straight into the race with no problem. It happened twice in a row and hasn't happened any time other than the races.

Otherwise the game is running great and the tweaks to the launch options have sorted out the texture issues. I'm getting quite alot of weird hud glitches and flashes of lines across the screen and stuff though. Playing with a phenom X4 3.2ghz, 12gb ddr3, 1gb radeon 6850 with the newer driver update on win7.

now it's happening on other things like the mail delivery and mutant bash tv. it's also just crashed during mutant bash tv twice now and won't let me save while i'm doing it which is annoying.
