Game Dev Tycoon

I just played a while of the demo, and watched TotalBiscuit's video on it, but I'm still unsure if I should actually buy it. It seems fun enough, and I think I might have fun with it, but I wanted to see if any of you would recommend it before I do. Thanks.

I've been watching Keralis playing it. Thinking of buying it.

I've heard people complain about the fact that it's too luck-based. I don't know how I feel about that, and neither do I know enough to make up an opinion about the game.

Isn't this the game that had the piracy bug it in, that if you had a pirated version you would encounter a bug in the progress? Of which when it was encountered, people started asking on the support forums about it?

I have no clue about that, would be pretty hilarious though.

It's super fun. For [censored] and giggles I created a company called Biosware and needless to say : Mass Erect sold 8 mln copies. I am in the process of creating the sequel: Mass Erect 2.

Edit: Also Dragon Rage was a commercial succes. Altho Dragon Rage 2 was a flop :P

It's 5 o'clock on a Friday and I've been working in 95+ degree heat and dead air all day; my sentences are allowed to be fragmented.

Anyways, I found the http://arstechnica.com/gaming/2013/04/game-dev-tycoon-developers-give-pirates-a-taste-of-their-own-medicine/ about it.
