freezes during dialogue with the headsman in solitude when asking him to follow me. -managed to get it to work after a few tries and quick-saved. -went back before the save to see if i could get it to work again and i couldn't.
i dismissed him and went to pick up that dark elf from the college. i recruited her successfully but now whenever i enter combat with her as a follower the game freezes. it freezes as soon as i make another npc hostile including the follower. i enable/disabled her and was able turn her hostile as a follower without any freezes but still can't attack any other npcs. i can attack anyone without a problem without any followers. are there any possible fixes for this?

Are you using mods, ini tweaks or anything else of that nature?
