So the only thing I've noticed with the new patch is a new problem: I'll just be walking somewhere, and one time I opened a door, and my TV goest black, and it went back to my PS3 menu page, as if I had quit the game. It happened 3 times today, never had it before. Anyone else have this problem??

Also, I died doing the final quest, and instead of going to to autosave, it went to the main menu.

yes, a handful of people have experienced this issue. sometimes when putting my game in, my ps3 tries to spit it back out. anyway, try some suggestions i've listed in a post titled "for people with freezing issues...". after doing those I was able to finally play my game with no major or game-breaking bugs/crashes, and no sudden return to the XMB.

I have been experiencing this as well! Truly ANNOYING!

I just encountered this bug as well. I was in Freeside going to Mick and Ralph's. As soon as I reached the door and entered, the game just quit itself and went to my ps3 menu.

This happend to me with other games but not new vegas.
