Basically if i ignore all my other issues so far with this game, i get to wondering how i change my game resolution to 1280x1024. Reason i ask is that i have a choice of 640, 800, 1024, 1680 (forgive the shortening of the res's).
Is there a config code or launch command that will force game to use 1280x1024?


Not sure if it matters but i already have these launch commands for it
com_skipIntroVideo 1 +m_smooth 0 +r_swapInterval 1 +vt_maxPPF 8
Could they be the reason why i'm unable to select other options than those above?

Id/bethesda good luck with the patching and don't botch up skyrim's release like you have this one.

Well most recent id software games use these:

seta r_customHeight "xxx"
seta r_customWidth "xxxx"

And don't forget to select:

seta r_mode "-1"
(note it is minus one)

You may also need
seta r_aspectRatio "0"

You can do this either via config file for via +set ... on command line
