Call me old school but I still play my Gameboy Advance SP. I play Dragonwarrior 3 among many other games using it which is a gbc game. I've had the same one for probably 15 years, and my monster medal collection was near complete. Well today I loaded it in after playing final fantasy tactics advanced and to my surprise my load wasn't there. My medals are gone. I can only start a new game. this makes me terribly sad and salty. It's acting like a fresh copy of the game as if all the data was somehow wiped.


I'm sure it's gone but does this mean the cartridge is going bad itself?

It might be. But it's more likely that the save game battery in the cartridge is dead.
