Use the damage over time spells that drains mana over time. You just tap the spells so that they trigger, the damaging effect lasts for a full second but only drains you for 1 mana. The mana regenerates back faster than you can spend it. This way you can kill anything with no mana cost. I killed a giant at lvl 3 and lost no mana at Expert difficulty.

Why would you go straight for exploits? Just play the game, dude.

What's the point of a post like this? Stop being defensive, it's a bug, it needs to be fixed.

the thing about exploits is that you don't have to use them, its called choice and you have free will.

I noticed it too and I wasn't even looking, I was pretty dissapointed afterwards, I keep trying to play properly but now I can't help but use it when I'm losing.

I know, but fixing gamebreaking issues isn't supposed to be left for the player to do. Something like this shouldn't even get through the beta. I am trying no to use it but whenever I am low on mana I just instinctively resort to this method and I use it. I shouldn't have to restrain my self from using something this easy. A harder exploit that takes effort and time, is understandable to be left in the game for people to just decide if they want to exploit it or not, but this is so easy and is with me through-out the game just a button press away.

He definitely should be highlighting this problem.

all bugs should be fixed by patches... no matter whether the player has control over it or not

a bug is a bug, if this exploit worked against you... everyone would be screaming fix!

but its not gamebreaking, because the game plays just fine if you don't use the exploit. there is no point where you can't continue playing the game if you don't use an exploit.

OK 1 vs 1 you could win... I mean "could" because, if you are fighting some flying cheetah your going to have some trouble... 1 vs 3 your dead.. You cant shoot waves all around you.. Or not that I know of..

Indeed. I didn't even try to exploit. This is extremely easily fixed by just having the spells have a trigger cost.
