gamesas Stats? : Crysis

I'm confused, in the cysis 2 multiplayer section. There is a gamesas option, the decsciption of Mycysis Sounds like a website where you can review your in game stats (leaderboards etc.) Is this what mycysis.com is? If so how do i review my stats?

Very true. They make it sound like its Crytek's version of bungie.net. Unfortunately all they have is a forum?!?

Yeah I noticed that too but also up at the top of the webpage under where it says gamesas it has a little (beta) but there is no info on when the stats will go online

Well if you look at the top left of the page this entire site is still apparently a beta so im not sure what is happening with leaderboards and stat tracking although maybe they are busier fixing in game problems before worrying about anything menial like that.

I was just thinking about this this morning... I wonder when it will be implemented or will be left on the cutting room floor. Like most great ideas and concepts that happens a lot.

It seems to be a new trend where devs claim online stat tracking, yet the only people I see put their money where their mouth is has been Bungie.

Not true

Blizzard have an extensive stat tracking website for Starcraft 2 and Massive Entertainment have a great stat tracking website for World in Conflict

EDIT: I just remembered that Battlefield Bad Company and Battlefield Bad Company 2 have stat tracking websites also

No point in having a stats-tracking page for Crysis 2 since the first few hundred people are cheaters.

After they are gone though, yeah... sounds like a good idea.

They said or at least i heard they would be updating this site to show stats, leaderboards, etc. I would expect it by May 3.

I've only seen the Killzone 3 tracking site. While that site didn't seem all that great to me I was at least expecting that much... An EA published title like this, with this level of marketing push, should really come with a certain level of luxury features after I’ve handed over my money.

The welcome email we received when we signed up to gamesas stated, "With the next version of gamesas, which will be launched shortly, you will also be able to access leaderboards and stat tracking for Crysis 2".

The term "shortly" seems to be the sticking point, if in fact a "new" site is coming. Some may believe that website stats and medal counts (a la bungie.net) is "menial" or frivolous, but it's become very important to many gamers these days.

The game has been out for 3+ weeks... I think it's time they implemented the new version of the site.
Otherwise, this becomes just a forums site... which is nice, but I can find elsewhere.

The site is still in beta at the moment.
They are currently still working on the new site that will in fact have stats.
It will be up soonish.
