The Moderator just locked my topic explaining your rights as consumers should you desire to return the game if it is not fixed. He justified it by saying it isn't a "software issue" and equated me giving out legal information to a petition. Ridiculous. Even Bethesda Moderators won't admit theres a problem, they'd just rather smother any dissent. At least the media might get something done now they're onto it.
They obviously don't want people to be aware of their rights. And he had the audacity to say it's not a software problem? WHAT THE HELL IS IT THEN? IS EVERYONE'S PS3 BROKEN? ARE GAMES NOT SOFTWARE?
A lot of forums have rules and policies against any discussions that critcise the them, the company or the forum is part of no matter how badly they or the company have treated their customers/members. Obviously this forum is the same.
That is complete censorship and goes against the laws of the countries where they are based which protect freedom of speech and expression.
They can't open a forum to the public and then try to deprive us of our lawful rights just because whats deing discussed does'nt suit them.
Moderators are supposed to be there to facilitate meaningful discussion and stop offensive language and behaviour towards the forums members, not prevent perfectly legitimate and polite discussions because its bad PR.
Releasing broken games, ripping of consumers/fans then treating us with total disrespect because WE have the audacity to not just accept it and complain, is bad PR but apparently thats acceptable to both Bethesda and the management of these forums.
This makes it look like all they care about is the money and are frightened of the thought of however many millions of PS3 copies of Skyrim being returned.
They want to squash any talk of consumer rights and any talk of returns in case it spreads to more and more people.
Actions like this Moderator has taken make me want this to happen. I hope something like that does happen as it will teach them a hard lesson and send a clear message that they cannot stop us from helping each other. Without fans there is no Bethesda and without members there is no forums. They should remember this.
Anyway, check out this article. It is spot on and the videos demonstrate the lag problem most of us have been suffering brilliantly. Some hard evidence for the those who say the problem does not exist or its perfectly playable. Say that again after viewing this. You too Bethesda, Pete Hines. Tell us its not that big of a problem after viewing this:
