Gametrailers video weighs in on broken & buggy PS3 Skyri

Post » Fri Sep 21, 2012 6:47 am

Game trailers journalist Marcus Beer comments on Bethesda providing PS3 gamers with a buggy & broken version of Skyrim, it's an interesting video which I'm sure will resonate with the many gamers on this forum (fast forward to 2:41 for the Bethesda comments).
Also could someone with twitter tweet the link to Pete Hines, Gstaff etc as I really think they should see this...

So after IGN gamtrailers grew some balls too?
Sadly Pete Hines is going to call him a liar without any further statement.

Not so much growing a pair as climbing onto the bandwagon. We saw the exact same thing happen with the frame rate issues and the ineffective (read: false) 1.2 patch.

Guy raises a point that I've been making here for a while. The only blame that can be levelled at Sony is giving this game a pass at certification, it earned a failure three times by my count and knowledge of the cert checklist, it should have been failed and to hell with Bethesda's 11/11/11 marketing campaign, especially considering the DLC exclusivity to the other platform and the way Bethesda tends to shun the PS3 historically when it comes to post release support. The free pass should stop, it has to stop but at the same time the publishers need to stop cutting corners and put in the hours to ensure that every gamer can enjoy every game regardless of their platform.

The more the merrier I say, bandwagon jumping or empirical testing and data gathering, Bethesda needs to understand just how wrong they were this time and learn from it for once.

In Bethesda's eyes, they are the victims here. The mean PS3 community is just asking for things too unrealistic and being unruly over the whole dilemma.

The only statement we can expect from Bethesda is something like:

"You people have no idea how complicated software programming is. You should be thankful that we gave you such a great game. You owe us so stop complaining and preorder Fallout 4!"

I'm not buying anything from Bethesda until Howard and Hines are fired. That's my line in the sand.
