Gaming mouse recommendations?

I'm in the market for a good gaming mouse. My $15 logitech mouse isn't cutting it. Price isn't too much of a concern. I'm not looking to spend $100+ on a mouse but I'll spend good money on quality with features I want:

Besides high DPI, the two most important features: Wired (no wireless) and an adjustable DPI button. I want to be able to hold a button with my thumb and change the DPI for slower precision, and release it to go back to normal. Almost no review I've read so far mentions this sort of feature except for one that said the Razer Deathadder doesn't have it.

I read that the R.A.T 7 has one but reviews on amazon say it's a very unreliable mouse.

Logitech G700 is out of the question because it's wireless.

Razer Naga is for MMOs. I don't know if that makes any difference but I'm looking for one for FPS, like a Deathadder but with that adjustable DPI button.

I would also prefer if the button wasn't a toggle, where you press once for one DPI setting and again for another. It's not a big deal but I would prefer a hold/release method.

If it matters, which it shouldn't, I'm more of a "claw" grip guy. Some reviews make a big deal out of whether a mouse is best for palm grippers or claw grippers. I actually rest the bottom of my hand right above the wrist on the mouse pad and grip the mouse with my fingers.

You guys are a treasure trove of info and recommendations so I figured I'd ask for your input :)
