Why, 2016, WHY?!

*Sigh* Young Frankenstein was one of the funniest movies I have ever seen.

Everyone is kicking the bucket this year before [censored] hits the fan on this planet. Smart.

Jokes aside, this is a sad loss. Entertainment has lost one of its best. RIP.

Bit of a bummer, but, eh, he made his best movies in the 70s and I never met the guy so I don't really feel I'm missing anything. It's not like he would star in a new comedy or anything, and I can still watch all my DVDs with him in them just like before, so I'm not gonna miss those. And for what it's worth, he lived 6 years longer than the US male life expectancy.

Damn. This one hits especially hard. I loved him in Wonka and the Mel Brooks movies he did. He will be missed.

Noooooooooooooooo, Nooooooooo, Noooooooooo.

Gene Wilder was one of my favorite comedic actors.

Man this year is one of the worst in regards to losing super talented artists.

TCM will be airing quite a few of his movies on Sept 29, 2016. I hope that includes TCM in Canada.

No one here remembers See No Evil, Hear No Evil?

Gene Wilder is deaf and Richard Pryor is blind.

One of my favoritest comedy movies I have ever seen.

Back in 1989 when I went to watch it when it came out I was expecting it to be like a see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil kind of thing.

It turned out to be a very funny comedy movie to me.

Gene Wilder is one of my favorite comedy actors ever.

R.I.P.

Sad...he was a true talent and chose some really great roles over the years. RIP, Mr. Wilder.

That said, no one lives forever, so his death is a good reason to remember him, but not a reason to be sad. Or, you know, if some people are living forever, they're not telling. We need to find those bastards and make them tell! I mean, we can't have them telling everyone, though. That would be economically catastrophic. I need to find those bastards ad make them tell. I'll be sure to come back here and pass it along if I learn anything, though. Like, for sure.

Todd Howard might be a good starting point. That guy hasn't aged a day in years!

One of the funniest lines in human history "Today I threatened to shoot a naked woman with my erection."

Silver Streak was the first movie I saw with the Wilder / Pryor duo.

Stir Crazy was another good one.

Agreed. This is sad news, indeed. "Complications from Alzheimer's?" That really svcks!

Rest in Peace now, Mr. Wilder. You gave me so many smiles.

[PS] Young Frankenstein is still one of my all-time favorites :)

I actually saw that in the theater. Gene Wilder and Cleave Little were great together. "Oh Boys! Where the white women at?" :D

There are a couple scenes in YF that had me laughing so hard that I cried. Love that movie.
