So... we get free respecc with Dawnguard?

Would be cool if we get a chance to reapply perk points to make use of possible new perk trees or being a better vampire and put perks into necromage ;)

Always starting a new char is boring...

I'd rather they just give you new options to get perk points instead of just getting them upon leveling up.

You dirty mongrals always want respecs! I jest.

I didn't mind it in boredlands but that was an entirely different beast.

I somewhat agree... if you've maxed out everything to the highest level then you can't enjoy any possible new skill trees.

But with new skill trees the level cap should be raised...

If you're the warrior class or a fighter you should be fine for the dawnguard.

Nice idea. It would be... ignorant of Beth to make a new perk tree and no way for level 50+ characters to obtain them,

Although im on the PC and have no such issues, I think it can be done storywise on a console:

If you join the Vampires, they'll probably put you thru a story based torture or something in which you wake up transformed (Eg: stat points resetted)

Or if you join the Dawnguard, they could make u drink some sort of potion ALA Dragon Age Origins Grey Warden Initiation, and once u wake up your stat points get resetted also.

Hmm I suppose that could work. Something like the Maker's Sigh potion in Dragon Age 2 perhaps. I guess only time will tell, not that it matters for me only because I have no current character and dont intend on making a new one until the DLC comes out.

why not just make a new character?

would make the Expansion more interesting instead of just a breeze.

Couldn't be more against adding a 'respec perk' option to the game, terrible idea.

Start a new character that's free. This isn't WoW.
