If I get Skyrim now will Steam still lock me out? : V

In less than two hours I should have the PC version of Skyrim.

Does anyone know whether if I install it via the disk if I can play the game.

(Do I have to wait till 11/11/11.)

You have to wait till 11/11/11 and this isn't "Steam locking you out" it's making sure people play on the release date...

I just went down to my EBgames in Australia and snapped up a copy, 7-hours 'till Steam unlock. : )

AUS still have 7 hours to go before they can start playing on Steam. They might have their console copies though? Am I correct?

Just got the game, went to install through steam and says its locked for another 7 hours
