Get This Arrow Out of Me!

Post » Wed May 16, 2012 5:51 pm

Does anyone else have the issue having an arrow stuck in them for days on end? I've tried just about everything; changing armor, saving and reloading, restarting my xbox... The arrow will change positions stuck in me, but that is about it. I like to go into third person from time to time, but this hideous arrow keeps mocking me.

found yet another strange fix. go into a dungeon and shoot yr own arrows at the ground, like 3. then leave. they should be off of you. glad it helped

has worked for me a few times. i shoot a few in the ground by the exit to a cave and run past them out the door and no arrows. werewolf changing is also a good way to get rid of em. it wouldnt surprise me if they fix this with an update within days.

You can do the old texture cache reset for Oblivion. If you're running off the disc, perhaps if you're not also, but if you are, restart the game from the Dashboard and hold the A button until you see the Bethesda logo onscreen and that should clear it. It worked right away for me.

I think the arrow problem could be due to an unusual was of stacking arrows.
If you get an arrow stuck in you I believe that the ones that don't disappear add to your arrows in your inventory; so I tried dropping my arrows and then picking them back up and they disappeared.

Also, I waited 12 hours in game, and then slept for 24 hours in game and the arrows also disappeared.

If you transform into a werewolf the arrows and ice spikes will disappear.(or at least they did for me,and stayed gone when I changed back.)
