getting rid of a master dependency?

Post » Mon Nov 19, 2012 10:53 pm

Hi there,

There is a mod called Enhanced Character Edit that depends on a master called RaceCompatibility.esm

In the readme of a certain mod I'm asked to "manually tweak the (enhanced character edit) esp file to get rid of the custom race it adds and to delete Race Combatibility.esm as well as scripts."

I assume deleting the custom race should be as easy as locating it with the CK and then pressing the supr button. What about getting rid of the dependency that enchanced character edit.esp has on RaceCompatbility.esm? How can I do that?

Thanks for any help.

Where it shows the dependancies, hightlight it and press delete.
(When your loading the mod in the CK)

I'm pretty sure you need to hold Ctrl, while pressing delete.
