Getting two shotted @ lv 31

Post » Fri May 11, 2012 12:34 am

So, for the most part, I've done what I do in every Elder Scrolls game. I set about doing whatever it is I care to do, which is primarily side quests, stealing, and exploring.

I'm currently level 31 have about 210 hp, 200 stamina, and 180 magicka. I'm wearing a mix of Ebony/Dwarven (epic/legendary).

I've run into the problem where enemies are performing fatalities on me while I still have 75-80% health left. I'm literally being two shotted and not by anything special, but by humans wearing steel armor in a quest which is available from whiterun.

Right off the bat I changed the difficulty from apprentice to expert because I found it boring that I was able to instantly fatality most enemies I came across, but I've never had any problems like this thus far and I've definitely encountered much more challenging tasks in the past.

Anyone running into anything like this? Any ideas?

I can roll back the difficulty, but it just doesn't make sense that I would need to do so when I'm regressing to beginner quests.

Many times my friend. Some opponents are extreme powerfull. Sometimes i just leave the place and return few levels later (dungeons leveling stops when you visit them). It is good to bring companion with you and have raise dead shout or spell. Just hit the boss when he is fighting with you friends.

Im only level 23 and debating starting over again due to glitched quests and so on, but I have ran into a few boss type opponents in random quests that are really strong.

So far I have encountered two boss bandits in tow separate areas that could two and three hit me. One mage that one hit me, and a quest saber cat that was pretty mean.
Other times I have no problems and sometimes its a even fight.

Depends on what you're fighting. Some things don't scale. Or if they do, they scale different. So you'll find harder fights at different points.

I have to agree.

I play a with resto/shield/heavy armor. I guess paladin ish class.

I understand getting clobbered by ice mages because I have no resist currently on my items, but I feel like physical damage I should handle to a degree.

The worm reaver....One shot. The dreugar lord one shot with a bow...took me 3 deaths before I even saw what was killing me.

is there enchants im missing that can help out? Other then a fort health.
