In my very first encounter with a Giant, I engaged it in battle alongside some traveling Khaajit merchants. Just before we finished it off, it landed a power attack on my head. What happens next was surreal. My character flew straight up; then I could see all of the mountains and the clouds waaaaay below me. The only time I have have ever seen a sight like this, is when I was looking out the passenger window of an airliner jetplane.


Maybe my body wanted to follow me to Aetherius and sovngarde, but I beleive that is unlikely. It seems like a glitch.

Yeah, it's a physics glitch. It happens to everyone. I've also had it happen to foes I've killed. They don't go flying straight up but they launch 50 feet away from me like I was superhuman or something.

If it's a glitch, let it stay. I think it's hilarious. It's like firing the Experimental M.I.R.V. in Fallout 3 directly at your feet with no armor on. You can see the entire world from that height!

This happened to a Mammoth that got attacked by a Dragon outside Whiterun, just started going up and never came back down.

I seen this happen in a Youtube video. Never laughed so hard in my life. Completely took my mind off the fact that I can't actually PLAY the game due to the HUD issues on an SDTV. I say we keep that bug. Chances are,someone getting hit like that was already dead before being launched anyway.lol

Just did a test outside of whiterun, the giant smashed me on the top of my head with a downward swing, bounced me off of the ground about two hundred feet into the air. Hilarious!!!
