Troll i say 8.25 on Sp, 7 on Mp would increase when problems are fixed and 8.5 on graphics would increase if there wasnt as many pop ins but you get used to em. overall i give it an 8.

im kind of a noob at crysis. i svck at online but i own at bfbc2 and cod. anyways wat is Mp and Sp. some1 plz help and yes i know im a noob. graphics are sick tho. im just not too sure about online yet. its a little tricky for me but i always get good at these fps games

MP = Multiplayer
SP= Single Player

:)

8.5 (due to one type of enemy AI differing the other)
9.5 (i dont mind the lag, framerate BUT its there)
9-9.5 (killzone esque on consoles but i bet it looks fantastic on computer with full settings and what not)
9.5 (another great gaming experience that has its faults but whatever, ill stick around for the fun... and that dedication trophy :p)

SP - 9, would be a ten, but too many bugs
MP - 8, also could be a ten, but also too many bugs and glitches, and more annoying ones than in the SP.
Graphics - 10. It's not just the obvious fact that it's a technological marvel, the art direction is also completely off the chart. The environments in the campaign are just so believable and detailed, it's really mind-blowing.

So that's a 9/10 overall.

And I'll tell you something else, I'm a huge fan of the Killzone franchise, but this game eats KZ3 for breakfast on all counts. Better campaign, better multiplayer, better visuals. I never thought I'd say this.

I just wish they'd beta tested it for another month so it could've been a 10/10.

Yeah I'm not a troll.. I paid for an inferior product and give it a four out of ten.

I'm new to Crysis. Got sick of 1 Billion gay 12 year olds camping in Call Of Duty and wanted something different.
It's great to play a game that involves tactics, stealth and isn't just following AI and all on rails with enemy jumping out from behind different objects.

SP - 9
MP - 7 (Because I get my ass kicked.. you guys are just to good for me.. )
Graphics.. hmm, maybe a 7? or 8? I dunno, I've seen footage of people playing it on PC and it looked better.. but that could be just my imagination.

A solid 9, just a few bugs and glitches and connectivity issues online that stop it from being a 10

1.03 patch could make up for it, we'll see.

if you give this game a 4 or something ridiculously low like that, then what do you give a game like Haze or Leisure Suit Larry Box Office Bust??? I give you a 0 for credibility

I've seen footage of people playing it on PC and it looked better.. but that could be just my imagination.

It's always going to look better if they have a better spec on there pc than our PS3's

im about half way through sp so...

sp - 9 - think ts excellent. great action, a.i is ok, love the setting
mp - 8 - havent had as many probs like others, love the amount of unlocks, suit abilities

graphics - 9

Overall: 4.5-5/10. The MP is a massive let down for this title, hence my overall rating

and I'd also like to add a fourth aspect - Audio. The music is very nice (in particular the part of the score that plays in the MP lobby is spectacular imho). I give Crysis 2's compilation of classical music (with many modernisations), the weapon sounds, the explosions, and the suit's voice a 9.5 (because there's always ways of improving! :p)

The single player was superb for someone whom just joined the series. However, after watching a walkthrough of the first game's Campaign, I'm left confused and disgusted by Crytek's move towards copying other well known elements from other well known games. 6/10

As for the Multiplayer, it's f-ing terrible! The framerate issues, the terrible hit boxes and lag of bullets when fired, not to mention the server lag in general, nothing innovative or original. 1/10

Graphic's wise, it's very good looking for a console game, however, it's not my favorite. 7/10

Audio and Sound, mediocre. 5/10

Overall: 6/10

I'll attempt not to have knee-jerk reactions to Crytek's decision to not make the same game twice. Personally, if I wanted a Crysis experience, I would play Crysis 1 and Warhead, not Crysis 2. Anyways, I'd rate it as the following:

SP: 9
MP: 6.5 (I love the idea and the vision but the execution is poor. Nothing ruinous but a patch is much needed.)
Graphics: 9 (It's almost perfect most of the time. But when it deviates, when I can see the pixels in the smoke, when framerate goes off, that is when it loses perfection.
Sound/Audio: 9 (The OST was amazing and very fitting. The samples they used were pretty cool as well.)

Overall, I'd give it an 8.5. If they fixed the multiplayer, I'd give it a 9.5. Looking forward to any DLCs (preferably in SP as MP is meh atm).

Some of you are being absolutely generous on the game rating. I notice most the high numbers are from Europeans. Personally I don't play single player mode so I can't judge there. For MP: Gameframe rate is terrible, hitbox is horrific, graphics are great, but look terrible. (If you don't move and just stair at something on the game, it looks great, but when you start moving , the rendering is useless.) Match making is unbalanced, and unrealistic. (Why would they match a level 35 against a lv 15? ) I'm from America, why am I playing with someone in the middle east? So yes if that is what you guys see than I guess I rate mp to be a 10 as well.....

Decent story, very pretty looking, and has a good length to it, very good blend of stealth and combat and is very addaptatble to different styles of play. I can only speak for my self on this one because I don't feel I experienced many of the glitches other people did, there were a few glitches with AI and clipping issues (things would be floating above the world or be walking in strange places).

MP: 7

The forums are filled with examples of why the multiplayer is either **** or very good. IMO the multiplayer has a lot of potential and when you manage to get a few games in a row where everything runs smoothly it is outstanding. However, the mp experiences is very erratic and jumps through an array of issues (connection issues, lag, glitches, etc). But it does have a lot of potential and can be fixed, when looking back on Halo or CoD, both these series had a lot of problems in their early development and took a good few months to be at the level they are now.

Support: 4

There has been a patch, which did fix some issues but also created a few more. However, that is about the only thing Crytec, EA or whoever is handling support has going for them. There is a lack of crytec involvement on the forums and the news articles on gamesas are rather dated and haven't changed much since release. One would hope that they are secretively working on improvements vice informing the public. This should b rather easy to change crytec and EA just need to start infroming the gamers and I think much of the forum rage would go away, people want to know what the hell is going on.
